#1. What inspired you to write erotica?  What were your influences?

Paintings at the Louvre museum began my understanding of the erotic sensual dialogue in the visual realm.  As I read novels, I began to explore the missing moments of lovemaking and meaning.  Writers seemed to shy away from exploring the sexual acts.  This frustrated me. I discovered ANAIS NIN, whose words just resonated so strongly that I kept re-reading her powerful short stories. My most favorite collection of erotic short stories are Delta of Venus and the Olympia Reader.
#2.  What do you find sensual in the world and how does this translate in your writing style?

I find that everything in life is sensual. From the feel of the wind on one's skin. To waking up to the sound of birds. To the act of listening to a lover sleep. To the very essence of living life. These and all other things are sensual moments that few of us ever truly savor for we are busy running from one activity to another. With that said, I feel that my writing style reflects these subtleties which I flesh out when I write my erotic scenes.
#3.  Regarding sexuality, what do you find most intriguing about what brings two people together?

I believe that sexual chemistry is launched by soul connections and hence past life recollections. That is what explains those powerful links that launch hunger, passion, and perhaps love.

#4.  What is one thing that your lovers in the past have taught you about yourself, your body and your capacity for pleasure?

I taught myself everything I know. I am my own best lover. However, there is the one who taught me that what I was writing about could exist. In fact, did exist. He is the only man who has ever awakened my soul, my body, and my heart simultaneously! This is my confirmation that what I had sought all my life and written about was not mere fantasy, but a shinning truth we can all experience. We must be open to allow our heart chakra's to vibrate to this end, and that means being willing to be vulnerable and yet feel safe within that vulnerability.
#5.  How has your own sexual awakening impacted your life, your work and your relationships?

My sexual awakening began when I was very young: swimming nude, taking moon baths and really connecting with my body in sensual ways that did not include masturbating. I was never a player(still not) though I was sensual. I quickly learned that one night stands were a real let down. I wanted to experience the real soul connections known as Tantric love. I journaled about it, read about it, and studied some of the best writings the world had to offer on the subject of sacred sex and its history. My art and my writings reflect the power of my soul which guides me like a compass to the truth that sex without love is a quick way to heartache and loss: These awakenings are a constant force in my work.
